The steel-cutting ceremony for the final vessel of SunStone Ships’ order of seven Infinity-class expedition cruise ship was held at the Haimen Shipyard

Steel-cutting ceremony for Florida based SunStone’s seventh order of Infinity-class expedition cruise ship took place at the Haimen Shipyard, which marked the final vessel of the order.

SunStone Maritime Group CEO, Niels-Erik Lund said, “With the steel cutting of the seventh and final ship in the Infinity series, we mark the completion of a remarkable journey. These vessels exemplify our commitment to providing exceptional expedition cruises with a focus on comfort, safety, and sustainability.”

The cruise ship, which will be named PC6 expedition, is planned to enter a long-term charter contract upon its arrival.

Similar to other Infinity class vessels, the seventh of the fleet is designed by Ulstein Design & Solutions AS. The ship will be 104 meters long, 18 meters wide and have a draft of 5.1 meter, as well as a capacity of accommodating 199 passengers and a crew of 101.

The final vessel of the order is ICE CLASS 1A and SOLAS certified.
