The 52.5-meter Virtus XP, launched on April 5th in Tuzla, marks a milestone for Turkish yacht building with its global ambitions and innovative design

Mengi Yay has proudly announced the launch of its new 52.5-meter explorer yacht, NB 113 – Gray Wolf, at its Tuzla facilities. As the largest yacht ever built by the shipyard, Virtus XP showcases 62 years of Mengi Yay’s expertise and highlights the rising strength of Turkey’s yacht industry on the world stage. Designed for long-range exploration and challenging sea conditions, the yacht features a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, and a seamless blend of modern aesthetics and functional comfort. Created in collaboration with VYD Studio and Van Oossanen Naval Architects, Virtus XP offers expansive outdoor decks and refined interiors, ensuring an exceptional living experience during extended voyages. With a range of 6,000 nautical miles and top speeds of 15 knots, the yacht is built for adventure. Virtus XP will soon begin sea trials and is set to debut internationally at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show, reinforcing Mengi Yay’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the explorer yacht segment.
