Mark Hardiman becomes PTP’s new CEO

Mark Hardiman became the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) in Malaysia

The port that is a joint venture of MMC Group and APM Terminals have been managed by Marco Neelsen for the past seven years. Hardiman, who used to work at the APM Terminals will take over from Neelsen to lead the terminal, which is a top 20 global container port.

Hardiman said in a statement, “I am honoured to be part of PTP, an established regional transshipment hub with a long and successful track record in the industry. I look forward to working with the Board of Directors and the team and am confident in our ability to achieve our growth plans and further cement our strong relations with our clients.”

PTP Chairman Tan Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh commented, “Mark is a dynamic, values-driven business leader who has a diverse background of experiences and an excellent track record of delivery in the global port, maritime and logistics industry.
