According to Bloomberg, a large crude oil tanker registered in Singapore, which offloaded Cargo in Israel was turned away in Libya

Proteus Philippa, a crude oil tanker, was scheduled to load 600,000 barrels of crude in Libya but according to Bloomberg, after a terminal operator confirmed it unloaded cargo in an Israel port, they rejected the ship.

Bloomberg tracked the ships AIS data from Gabon in West Africa, which showed a brief signal at Haifa at the beginning of October, based on Bloomberg’s calculations. The report said that it is common for vessels to stop their AIS transmission while in Israeli ports.

Bloomberg noted that it was not an official state policy.
