JSW is to develop port in Karnataka State

Indian JSW Infrastructure, won a 495 million dollars order to develop a port in the southern state of Karnataka, Keni

JSW, surged in the stock market 70 percent due to the increased cargo volumes, is currently operating 9 port concessions and the company aims to double its overall capacity of 158,4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) by 2030. In the wake of this ambition, the port at Keni will have an initial capacity of 30 MTPA.

The port will be built to manage cape size vessels, including bulk carriers taht will mainly carry coal ores and other commodity raw material.

Since debuting on the stock market on October 3, this has been the first major contract JSW Infrastructure won.
