The Gemak Group has announced that it completed the scrubber installation of MSC’s MSC Brianna vessel in just 55 days.
The shortness of the installation period -which includes the installation of a hybrid system and sea trials of the installation- a world record.
Owing to the speed of the installation, MSC Brianna will be able to meet the sulphur cap of IMO 2020, regardless of the sulphur content of the fuel it uses.
